Introduction
Flexi Manufacturing, one of the Eqstra Group of Companies, was established in June 2004 as part of FlexiFleet. In 2006/2007 Flexi Manufacturing grew from its divisional role where the primary focus was directed to blue chip internal customers such as Clover, Blue Ribbon and Albany Bakeries, to also include external customers associated with original equipment manufacturers such as Nissan Diesel, Volkswagen, Toyota Trucks, Isuzu and Others.
Flexi Manufacturing specializes in the custom design & manufacture of Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Composite vehicle load bodies. We’ve adopted a competence area approach to describing the products and services we render and further extend our business to value added engineering services that set us aside from traditional truck body builders.
With the unbundling of Imperial Holding and the creation of EQSTRA holdings in May 2008, Flexi Manufacturing has extended its focus to the support and assemble of products for the blue chip businesses aligned with the Core focus areas of EQSTRA, namely: Capital and Leasing, Mining and Construction and Industrial Equipment.
